I’m sure it would. I hand dyed but wonder if washing machine is better. I prefer using the washing machine pods from another dye brand **Q: Does this produce a light green if you leave it in for less time?** A: Hi Daniel, You can achieve a lighter colour by using less dye. I would not suggest leaving it for a shorter period as I am not certain whether that would impact the setting of the dye. If you are not dying in a machine, but use a vat of some sort you can gradually add the dye to the liquid until you achieve the desired colour. Another benefit of this method is that if, after drying you have not achieved the required colour you still have dye left to try again. I do hope this helps.
