Serrapeptase is one of the enzymes that may help break down fibrin in the blood, and thus have circulatory benefits. The others are nattokinase and lumbrokinase. If you have excess clotting in any way, this may help. It is very important for you to take this enzyme on an empty stomach, or it will simply digest the protein in your meal and won't get taken up into the bloodstream to do its intended job. I take it before working out, along with other enzymes like bromelain, which may act as anti-inflamatories. This product is made by a reputable enzyme company that has been around for quite a while. The website of their parent company claims third party testing, so that is good to know.
