Mold Max 60 is a Shore 60A tin catalyzed silicone mold rubber formulated for applications requiring high heat resistance (up to 560°F/294°C). It features a low mixed viscosity and cured rubber exhibits very low linear shrinkage. Parts A & B are mixed 100A & 3B by weight. Pot life is 40 minutes and cure time is 24 hours.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this to cast silver ?**
A: Silver melts at roughly 1000oc where this is maxes out at 250oc ish. To do silver you have to use investment plaster. Check out 'Vegetable Oil Guy' (VOG) on Youtube, gives a good tutorial on silver casting.

Cures a lot faster than it says on the instructions which I didn’t mind. I’m using it to make some tin jigs and it works perfectly for that! Nice and easy to clamp because the silicone is very rigid. Maybe wear gloves when using because the red gets everywhere 😂. Very minimal bubble! Have made tons of jigs with it so far and it looks like it’s new still despite the crazy heat.
