I did get a single piece of about 2mm, but that was the exception rather than the norm. All pieces were soft and very flexible, with most of mine having one 'smooth' side and one relatively rough ish. I was quite pleased as mine were great for what I needed them for. They are not cut square, so I trimmed them into rectangles and surprisingly had very little 'scrap'. They're a few millimetres thick- I've cut hearts out of them with good scissors to make charms for pendants.
