Review: Excellent Turntable for Vinyl Enthusiasts - I recently purchased this turntable and couldn’t be more thrilled with my decision. This turntable has exceeded my expectations, especially with its seamless integration with my Sonos speaker system. Setup was a breeze, connecting effortlessly to my Sonos speakers, and within minutes, I was enjoying my vinyl collection with the rich, immersive sound Sonos is known for. The sound quality is phenomenal, capturing every nuance of my records with a warm, authentic feel. The sleek design adds elegance to my living room, and its top-notch build quality feels durable and well-crafted. The convenience of controlling volume and playback directly from the turntable is fantastic, ensuring an easy and enjoyable listening experience. Whether you’re a vinyl enthusiast or just getting started, this turntable offers an unbeatable combination of sound quality, design, and convenience. Five stars! Review: Not worth it - After extensive research to replace my existing broken turntable, I was excited to find this unit compatible with Sonos. I was willing to pay the steep price to avoid more speakers etc. I couldn’t wait to play my favorite records for my kids who were so curious how a turntable worked. Who knew!? The set up was easy. The unit is quite beautiful and sleek and did look great in my music room. Those are the only pros. The connection was very unstable and glitchy and slightly improved with the recommended adjustments. I couldn’t get an entire side of a record to play without interruption. When it did connect, the sound was decent. The app crashed more often after the recommended update. Unfortunately this is just not a good unit. The concept is amazing but not quite there and certainly not worth the very steep price tag. Plus … if the internet goes out, this unit is useless. It could also use a protective cover for use while playing. I’m a big audiophile and spent the better part of my day trying to make this work, hoping it would improve but it just didn’t. It made more work than enjoyment. ## Features - WORKS WITH SONOS – Seamlessly stream vinyl directly to your entire Sonos system with the Victrola Stream Onyx, no extra components needed - BLUETOOTH OUTPUT – Effortlessly switch between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on this Victrola record player to stream to speakers, soundbars, headphones, and more - EXPANDED CONNECTIVITY – Connect this Bluetooth record player to even more Wi-Fi speakers with UPnP streaming and Roon Ready Relay or use the line-level RCA output for a traditional wired connection - EASY SETUP AND CONTROL – Get set up in minutes with the Victrola Stream app and control playback and volume directly from the turntable’s illuminated knob - HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS – Features an Audio-Technica AT-VM95E or Ortofon OM5E cartridge and an aluminum tonearm with a removable headshell and adjustable counterweight for rich, detailed vinyl playback ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BL5CC6D3 | | Additional Features | Volume Control | | Best Sellers Rank | #31,809 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #203 in Audio & Video Turntables | | Brand | Victrola | | Built-In Media | Turntable, Manual, power cord, 45 RPM adaptor, dust cover, counter weight, platter, silicone slipmat, Audio Technica AT-VM95E cartridge, gold-plated RCA cables, 6-foot grounded phono cable | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Speaker | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 out of 5 stars 246 Reviews | | Cycles | AC Motor | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Included Components | Turntable, Manual, power cord, 45 RPM adaptor, dust cover, counter weight, platter, silicone slipmat, Audio Technica AT-VM95E cartridge, gold-plated RCA cables, 6-foot grounded phono cable Included Components Turntable, Manual, power cord, 45 RPM adaptor, dust cover, counter weight, platter, silicone slipmat, Audio Technica AT-VM95E cartridge, gold-plated RCA cables, 6-foot grounded phono cable See more | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 13.5"L x 16.9"W x 4.3"H | | Item Highlight | Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming turntable, works with Sonos, Roon, UPnP, AT-VM95E cartridge, RCA out (speakers sold separately) | | Item Weight | 8.41 kg | | Manufacturer | Innovative Technology | | Material | Plastic | | Maximum Rotational Speed | 45 rpm | | Mfr Part Number | VPT-2000-BLK-ATE | | Model Name | VPT-2000-BLK-ATE | | Model Number | VPT-2000-BLK-ATE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Signal Format | Analog | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 60 db | | Special Feature | Volume Control | | Style Name | Turntable | | UPC | 810033111723 | | Voltage | 240 volts | | Warranty Description | 2 Years | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Victrola - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Speaker - **Item Weight:** 8.41 kg - **Material:** Plastic - **Maximum Rotational Speed:** 45 rpm - **Model Name:** VPT-2000-BLK-ATE - **Special Feature:** Volume Control - **Style:** Turntable ## Images ![Victrola Stream Onyx - Wireless Wi-Fi Turntable, Works with Sonos - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51A095+Wb8L.jpg) ![Victrola Stream Onyx - Wireless Wi-Fi Turntable, Works with Sonos - Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jf1d4jqWL.jpg) ![Victrola Stream Onyx - Wireless Wi-Fi Turntable, Works with Sonos - Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71z+wRSUXuL.jpg) ![Victrola Stream Onyx - Wireless Wi-Fi Turntable, Works with Sonos - Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71CT2SuFdyL.jpg) ![Victrola Stream Onyx - Wireless Wi-Fi Turntable, Works with Sonos - Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61hX6u5TFVL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it have Bluetooth headphones capabilities** A: Not by itself, no. **Q: This is the second player I got. The first one was playing the album too slow. Now the new one is playing too fast. Any suggestions?** A: Don't buy this player. I've had to same issue and customer support hasn't emailed me back and I've had this like 6+ months. Sent 2 different emails and nothing. **Q: Can it connect to other Wi-Fi system other than Sonos** A: I don’t believe so. It’s designed for use with Sonos. Also beware that the quality of the turntable is extremely poor - you’re essentially paying megabucks to connect to Sonos and receiving a very cheap record player with it. I sent mine back. If you’re not using it for Sonos there are much better record players out there. **Q: In my set up i have both sonos and airplay2 speakers; will this stream to all devices in my household or only to the sonos ones?** A: This unit was specifically designed for use with a Sonia system. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Turntable for Vinyl Enthusiasts *by S***Y on June 4, 2024* I recently purchased this turntable and couldn’t be more thrilled with my decision. I was worried about having install a cartridge, balance the tone arm and getting everything set up correctly. Victrola has thought this through and makes it very easy to set up thanks to a QR code that takes you to an app you download to your smart phone. The app is great and delivers step by step instructions. Then once you get set up, it's pretty easy to get integrated into your Sonos system. My Sonos system is placed throughout the home and it was fun to hear some of my old vinyl that isn't avail on Spotify or iTunes. This is why I purchased the turntable. While the turntable delivers great sound with my new records, I was super impressed how it handled my older vinyl that has some scratches, warps and pops. Those records played just fine and sounded great despite their age and wear. To me, that is a sign of a good turntable. If you have a record collection that includes several releases that aren't avail on any of the streaming services, then this is a must have. Thank you Victrola! ## Frequently Bought Together - Victrola Stream Onyx - Wi-Fi Streaming 2-Speed Turntable with Bluetooth Output, Works with Sonos, UPnP Wi-Fi Streaming, Roon Ready Relay, Premium Moving Magnet Cartridge and Aluminum Tonearm (Black) - Sonos Era 100 - Black - Wireless, Alexa Enabled Smart Speaker - Sonos Five - Black - Wireless HiFi Speaker --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/503190398-victrola-stream-onyx-wireless-wi-fi-turntable-works-with-sonos](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/503190398-victrola-stream-onyx-wireless-wi-fi-turntable-works-with-sonos) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
