Review: Excellent quality - Far superior to other Halford models I've tried. I bought this in particular because it was able to work with both a BMW X3 and also a saloon (BMW 3 series). Set up is very straight forward and I think the design is quite neat - I like how all the cables go through the centre bar. Each bike has 3 of its own dedicated clips. I've only tried fitting two bikes on this but it was very easy to do. The only annoying thing is that the bikes cover the license plate so I've had to buy a spare plate - but that's going to be the case with most bike carriers.

Far superior to other Halford models I've tried. I bought this in particular because it was able to work with both a BMW X3 and also a saloon (BMW 3 series). Set up is very straight forward and I think the design is quite neat - I like how all the cables go through the centre bar. Each bike has 3 of its own dedicated clips. I've only tried fitting two bikes on this but it was very easy to do. The only annoying thing is that the bikes cover the license plate so I've had to buy a spare plate - but that's going to be the case with most bike carriers.

Great bike rack.. used it loads of times now and does a great job

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good build requires lighting board

Only used it once so far and it feels like a very good build manufactured to a high standard. Assembly instructions are easy to follow, took me about 10 minutes to setup and another 10 minutes to mount three bikes. I've used these trunk mounted bike racks before so I am familiar with the setup. The straps are on the long side but you can always tie them or opt for the more expensive superbones model which hides the straps. There are some good videos on YouTube from the manufacturer. I used it on an A4 Saloon. I'm not convinced that you could actually use these on the road without a lighting board as it obstructs the reg plate. You will require a plug socket in the boot or a towbar which will add to the costs considerably. If you need to add the plug socket then you might as well go the whole hog and add the towbar too and just get a towbar mounted rack. I was quoted £150 for just a plug socket in boot plus £20 for lighting board from a local garage.
