Wire is 22 awg 7-strand and pre-tinned, cloth jacket has a waxed cotton outer braid and a Celanese inner braid. This wire is an accurate replication of the wire used in vintage Fender's. Made by the same company. Stranded wire is the good stuff for wiring or rewiring your guitar. Much easier to work with than solid core when you are trying to solder to the back of a pot, or lug. White is hot, black for ground, yellow was traditionally used for the middle pickup on 3 pickup single coils. ## Features - Authentic Heritage: Elevate your electric guitar's performance with authentic cloth guitar wire born from the 1950s American guitar-making legacy, delivering unwavering quality and performance to this day. - Pushback Wire For Hassle Free Wiring: Simplify guitar projects with our "pushback" wire, eliminating tedious stripping and allowing you to focus on your passion. Just cut, push back the insulation, and solder. - Soldering Made Simple: Our pre-tinned stranded copper wire ensures frustration-free soldering, with the "tinned overcoat" securely locking strands together. - 6 feet of Vintage Charm: Experience 6 feet of each color in genuine vintage excellence with waxed cotton outer braid and celanese inner braid, capturing the golden era of guitar-making. The authenticity of this wire makes it a true gem for any vintage guitar wiring enthusiast. - USA-Made Excellence: Proudly made in the USA, our 22 AWG wire showcases top-notch craftsmanship and materials, embodying American ingenuity. Still made by the same manufacturer who made vintage guitar wire back in the day. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B5FLWMGR | | Best Sellers Rank | #48,438 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #1,475 in Electric Guitar Parts | | Brand Name | The Art Of Tone | | Colour | Black White Yellow | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (855) | | Gauge | 22.0 | | Item Weight | 0.03 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Gavitt Wire & Cable Co. | | Material Type | Copper | | Model Number | BWY | | Number Of Wires | 7 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | G-0950017-TAOT | | Strands | 7 | | UPC | 733569951147 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The Art Of Tone - **Colour:** Black White Yellow - **Gauge:** 22.0 - **Material:** Copper - **Number of Cable Strands:** 7 ## Images ![6 ft 3 Color (18 Feet total) Gavitt Cloth-covered Pre-tinned 7-strand Pushback 22awg Vintage-style Wire For Guitar Wiring, Kits, and Harnesses - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CEE4TwioL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Art Of Tone Gavitt Pushback Cloth Wire for Electric Guitar, 22awg Pre-tinned Stranded Copper Wire, 6 feet of Each Color, Black/White/Yellow - Orange Drop Capacitors .022uf / 200v, 715P Series, Tone Capacitor for Electric Guitar & Bass, Pack of 2 - Pure Tone Multi-Contact 1/4 inch Mono Output Jack | Black Nickel | Dual Tension Grounds & Dual Positive Tips for Optimal Signal, Tone & Lowest Possible Noise --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/502442628-6-ft-3-color-18-feet-total-gavitt-cloth-covered](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/502442628-6-ft-3-color-18-feet-total-gavitt-cloth-covered) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
