It's a great game at any count. The only difference for 2 players is that each player controls two pieces, which must both "finish" in order to win. In the 3 and 4 player games, each player only has one piece which needs to cross the finish line for the win. **Q: Is this the English edition as pictured?** A: I received the English Ed. (12/2020 purchase date). **Q: are the cards smaller then normal?** A: Normal playing cards? Absolutely. They’re the size of the cards in Blood Rage, or the ones that you flip for damage in Gloomhaven, if you’ve played either of those popular games. It isn’t so bad, but it does make shufflinga tad harder. **Q: There is an expansion on boardgamegeek. Any idea when it will be available in the states?** A: There are 2 expansion sets on Amazon now! The game itself is a medium weight family deck building game for 2-4 players. It is essentially a race to the finish line, but you chose your own path and buy cards from the market place, so everyone will have slightly different strategies. There's tonnes of map setups and when you're done with all that you can add caves for randomised loot (included in the box), so it has near infinite replayabality.
