Simply turn it upside down. 2. Untie the bag from the hoop and widen the opening via draw string and dump it separately. Reattach the hoop with the draw string and a knot. **Q: What is the mesh size?** A: The holes in the mesh are 3/16”. Seems perfect to me. Makes it easy to clean and nothing comes out especially since the bottom is solid. I highly recommend these bags for keeping your boat clean and trash out of the ocean! **Q: Can you use kitchen trash bags with this? I don't want drips and bugs. You didn't answer other person because you "couldn't imagine" why.** A: I would recommend purchasing the Model TB07 shown in this video. Many people find this the best option when using a plastic bag liner. Boat Trix Large model 2021 bag. **Q: Does it open at the bottom for easy emptying?** A: Not at the bottom, but at the top, all You need to do is untie the draw string and the bag opens to full width. After it’s empty, simple reattach the hoop and sinch and tie again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Boat Trash Bag - Medium Hoop Mesh Trash Bag For Your Boat - Premium Boat Scuff Erasers, Boating Accessories for Cleaning, Gift for Pontoon, Fishing, Jon Boats, Decks, Vinyl and Hull Cleaner, Gadgets for Men and Women - Captain Hat & First Mate | Matching Skipper Boating Baseball Caps | Nautical Marine Sailor Navy Hats --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/501724509-boat-trix-boat-trash-bag-medium-hoop-mesh-trash-bag](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/501724509-boat-trix-boat-trash-bag-medium-hoop-mesh-trash-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
