A: Yes

**Q: Hi, what colour is the hose?**
A: if talking about Chrome - colour is all chrome, amazing product

**Q: What is the hose made of - steel or rubber?**
A: It's fitted now so can't look inside, but feels to me like it's a rubber hose with a braided material outer, as opposed to the metal braiding you get on flexi-hoses when plumbing in taps and cisterns. Feels really good quality though, I'm really happy with it. Hope that helps.

Some of the instructions aren't very clear but eventually, I installed it successfully.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DIY Install of Grohe Tap

A nice tap with smooth operation, can swivel between an angular range or locked in place. Chrome finish is excellent and cleans up really well. Before installing assembly is required and decision made if you require the spout to swivel or not. It’s controlled by a heavyweight brass alloy washer which depending on how it is inserted either allows movement or not. Once decided you insert the spout ,checking it operates the way you want and then insert the thin sprung clip into the slot at the base of the spout insertion point. That’s it, assembly done! You may need some adapters to convert your pipe bore to the same as the taps. These are easily found from your friendly neighbourhood plumbers merchant. Use PTFE tape on the fittings and before you know it you will have fitted your kitchen tap. I award four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Happy shopping.
