Quick and easy refill Zippo lighters can be refilled in different ways , depending on the insert type. Fuel lighters need to be filled with liquid fuel in the cotton compartment, while gas versions are supplied by a butane insert. Electric models are simply recharged via a USB cable. Review: Sublime quality. - Let me start by saying I do not smoke. I am a bloke and I like stuff, and like most blokes, fire holds an attraction (no, I'm not an arsonist!) its just human nature. The lighter is beautifully presented in a smokey chrome finish with a beautifully ornate ace of spades (the reason I purchased - it matches my name) which is either etched or engraved, either way it is outstanding. Zippo lighters are extremely tactile although I also own an Austrian made IMCO which have a greater heritage than zippo and are far more practical than zippos (have a look on you tube) although not as easy on the eye. Of course if you do not use the lighter every day you will find the fuel evaporates before you use it - a problem with IMCO lighters too. I have found the perfect solution though, for about £20 you can purchase the Thunderbird butane insert http://www.desertcart.co.uk/gp/product/B003IRNUQI/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which fits into your zippo perfectly. Being engraved or (etched?) means you shouldn't have to worry about any kind of transfer print wearing off, which was my main consideration in purchasing this over other similar designs, but be warned it is so beautifully polished that it gets covered in finger prints within moments. I waited a few months before leaving this review (as these sort of things have a tendency to age with the grace of a glass of milk on a warm day) and I am pleased to report that aside from a few scratches here and there, a result of my own clumsiness, the lighting mechanism still works after the first strike even after several flint changes and I am yet to require a change of wick. Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is indeed worth every penny you spend on it. Oh and it comes with a lifetime "repair-or-replace" warranty to boot.

**Q: Does it come with fluid inside or do you have to fill it?**
A: No fluid inside, carriers are not allowed to have items with lighter fuel in.

**Q: Can i fill with butane gas?**
A: No it will explode in ur face, I learned the hard way

**Q: Is it possible to fill this with butane gas ?**
A: No mate, only lighter fluid, you can change the insert in the lighter with a butane one for 16 quid. However, i do not recommend this model, i had it an the print peeled off fast!

**Q: Does it come with the wick and flint?**
A: I am not sure as I got it for some one else...(I don't smoke).. but I only had to buy the fuel gas separately..rest it worked fine
