Review: This Stain Does What you Want It To Do! - Forest Green. Excellent stain. It does indeed waterproof. Rain beads up as expected. The stain penetrates the fence rails and post really well; enven the planed sides. Where the sides of rails are rough sawn it penetrates even more deeply and easily as one would expect. Dries really quickly. The colour is really nice and very close to the photos you see. Remember though it is a stain and not a paint so you will see variations in colour. The variation in colour is related to the wood itself and the surface condition of the wood whether planed or rough sawn. I have some really large post on all of my gates which are very smooth planed and the stain pentrated really well on them. Coverage was better than expected. Coverage: Four foot high fence, five rails, about twenty (20) metres or so in total, plus a four (4) foot wide x six (6) foot high gate. Five (5) litres coverd both sides of the fence including about 8 post at 4 feet plus a bit high. More fence to paint.

Applies well and looks great. Used it on my Summer House, Bike Shed, Lawn Mower Shed & Decking edge border late Summer 2020. This was it's 2nd lot of two coats as all 3 buildings came pre stained (sprayed) with this product when installed in my garden October 2016 bought from Parkhill Timber Products, Denby, Derbyshire. I just brought another 5 litres of Timbashield Mahogany from A-Chem, so I can re-stain the decking where it has been worn down over the last 3 years. You can spray it on or just use a brush like I do. On vertical surfaces just remember not to put too much on the brush and start from the top and work your way down. The product penetrates the wood well and dries quite quickly. All my 3 buildings are almost 5 years old and with this Product still look Brand New. I have attached a photo where I also used Timbashield Solvent Wood Stain - Mahogany on a hard wood chair rocker and garden bench. Both came up better than I expected then finished them off a week later with a coat of teak Oil. I totally recommend Timbashield Solvent Based Wood Stain - Mahogany if you want a great finish that protects the wood and lasts ages and does not peel. In the past I have also bought "Timbashield Wood Stain - Light Oak" and that gives a brilliant finish too, but it can give a darker result on new pine wood, but I have this nailed down now with some mixing/dilution of the Light Oak. On application it does smell, but over a short time this goes away. Very water repellent. Our neighbours always remark how great our buildings and decking look, even after a long hard winter. First class delivery service from A-Chem. Now my one stop shop for all my Timbashield Wood Staining and Protection needs. Mahogany is my Favourite and I just love it's warm golden look. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Stain Does What you Want It To Do!

Forest Green. Excellent stain. It does indeed waterproof. Rain beads up as expected. The stain penetrates the fence rails and post really well; enven the planed sides. Where the sides of rails are rough sawn it penetrates even more deeply and easily as one would expect. Dries really quickly. The colour is really nice and very close to the photos you see. Remember though it is a stain and not a paint so you will see variations in colour. The variation in colour is related to the wood itself and the surface condition of the wood whether planed or rough sawn. I have some really large post on all of my gates which are very smooth planed and the stain pentrated really well on them. Coverage was better than expected. Coverage: Four foot high fence, five rails, about twenty (20) metres or so in total, plus a four (4) foot wide x six (6) foot high gate. Five (5) litres coverd both sides of the fence including about 8 post at 4 feet plus a bit high. More fence to paint.

Very Satisfied Returning Customer - My 3rd lot of "Timbashield Solvent Based Wood Stain - Mahogany". Fantastic Product. Applies well and looks great. Used it on my Summer House, Bike Shed, Lawn Mower Shed & Decking edge border late Summer 2020. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, easy to use and great finish.

Arrived on time and a good price. So easy to apply, goes a long way even though I've applied liberally (8 x plank garden table tops at 5ft long and 16 x benches of planks at same length) with just 1 x 5 litres) will 2nd coat easily with next 5 litres. Finish is good, strong consistent colour and has beaded up well in rain already ! Only 4 stars as yet to see it's durability but would definitely recommend anyway.
