They are white and come on the little blue applicator so that you can remove the old (I had already done this bit) and on the applicator is a new one ready to press on and discard. I am registered blind to this was made easier by this product. I would recommend to anyone with in ear aids to stop wax getting in to the aid and reducing the life. I also put mine in a dry box over night and so far they are going well and a real bonus to my life. Unfortunately, I was sent an inferior substitute;- unbranded wax traps of a completely different design! I thought the design had changed, and opened the pack to try to use them, but they do not fit my hearing aids, so I have wasted my money!
