It is absolutely jam packed with techniques that can be applied in countless situations (have your highlighter at the ready)! I have read some reviews that describe this as more of a text book - yes that is true, it is a “manual”...but don’t let that put you off! Chase Hughes explains everything thoroughly and gives plenty of examples. I personally read the book alongside listening to podcast episodes/videos Chase featured on (freely available on his website, YouTube or Spotify). These added to my understanding of how everything fits together. I am a therapist in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis - where active participation - both in therapy and between sessions - is paramount. This manual individualised the way I communicate with each client, enabled me to pick up on even most subtle non verbal cues, and allowed me to gain compliance in therapy participation.
