First off, I read a couple bogus reviews…enough on that.This product was recommended to me by a professional epoxy floor installer. I took his advice and do not regret it. easy 5 stars, I had some questions and Alex @ Latux in Florida answered all my questionsA couple of tips for future installers.1. Do not panic with timing on the base:epoxy coat, take your time get a nice spread with the squeegee it does have to be super perfect, then you use the roller to even everything out.2. Make sure you have two paint handles, so you don’t have to switch between the squeegee and roller.3. Have a friend with gloves on, ready to get the squeegees cleaned up with some alcohol, napkins and a hose, while you are spreading the epoxy down.4. Do not shy away from throwing down handfuls of the flakes, broadcast till rejection, again flood the flakes. if you want that light flake look its going to take some skill.5. Use a 14” drywall spreader with a wooster handle adapter to scrape excess flake.6. when laying down Poly top coat dont focus on squeegeeing too much, you have limited time the roller is your friend on this one. If you are doing a big area, leave some in the bucket, rollout the area, then move on, dump the rest and so on.
