**Q: How far does this project from the wall (depth)?**
A: I originally ordered 6 bars.  I received 4 good bars and 2 rusted out and/or paint missing in spots bars.  When I complained about the 2, they replaced them with 2 more...and they were more rusted out than the original 2 bad ones.  When I complained again I got two different email responses.  One said they would refund the amount for the 2 bars...they didn't.  And the other said they would send 2 more...they didn't. Be sure to examine your bars closely, especially where the bar part connects to the square attachment parts on either end.  Hopefully you will get good ones.  They don't stick out very far...maybe an inch.

**Q: What is the total width of bar to the ends of brackets?**
A: 17 inches from end to end

Interestingly enough, I bought two. One came with extra long screws which would have gone through my cabinet door. So, I had to search for the right sized screws. I was just glad the other came with the properly sized screws.
