We had 6 players but it still worked well. The audio file that introduced each 'act' helped to se the scene, and the fact that everyone dressed up in 1920s clothes helped a lot. It is very well presented and easy to follow even after a number of glasses of champagne!! You are each given a script for each scene varying depending on whether you are the murderer. The scripts were very well written for each character and if you get into acting it out, it was very funny. It didn't really matter when it referred to other characters who were not sat around the table, it was just like they were in another room. Also you draw secret lots as to who will be the murderer at the start with only them knowing who it is - me as host didn't know. This means that you can play the game again and again. And with 14 characters you can change who people are on another occasion. Review: What a great way to party - such good fun - I bought this for my 30th birthday and had a roaring 20s murder mystery. All of my guests loved it. We had the 14 guest version which was great as you got given clues on what to wear to help those who may struggle with fancy dress. The instructions are clear and the story we had adds some humour which was nice.
