The auto-dimming works perfectly, and I love the stepless brightness/color temperature adjustment - it's so easy to find the perfect lighting. The anti-glare design really makes a difference! A couple small issues: 1. The mounting clips don't grip my external monitor very securely - it tends to slip if I adjust my screen position 2. The circular control button is a bit confusing at first - I expected it to rotate, but it's actually just a press button (short press/long press/double tap for different functions) That said, the remote control is super convenient, and USB power makes it easy to use anywhere. For the price, it's an excellent purchase - just needs slightly better mounting hardware for external monitors. (Works great for both work and gaming - much easier on the eyes than overhead lighting!) Review: Sceptical about the hipe - Seen many reviews on monitor bars and how much they improved use in low light area’s, thought I’d give it a try. This one fit well on my setup, wanted one with a remote so I didn’t knock the light adjusting it although it does have buttons on the light as well. Also needed to be able to fit a camera on top which worked out ok, have put a small Velcro trap on just to keep the secure. Gives great light options plus the auto dim feature. Very happy overall definitely improved computer use in low light. ## Features - 【Auto Dimming】MELIFO monitor light with Built-in light sensor ,the light brightness can be adjusted automatically by the ambient brightness. Alwayskeep your eyes relax. - 【No Glare on Screen】Scientific optical design makes the light only illuminate the keyboard area and eliminate the reflected glare on the screen. Without blue light so it better protects eyesight and relieves eye fatigue. - 【Stepless Dimming & Memory Function】Both of the brightness and color temperature of this screen light bar can be adjusted steplessly. You can adjust between cold and warm light until you reach the mode you want. Its intelligent memory function will help you remember the brightness and lighting mode you set the last time you use it, there's no need to reset next time use. - 【USB Power Supply】 The power supply of this monitor light can be done by inserting USB plug into the computer/mobile power supply/power adapter/other USB devices. - 【Mechanical Switch/Remote Dual Control】This monitor light has been quipped with dual control function, not only has mechanical switch on the right side of the lamp but also can be controlled by the remote control, which is more convenient. Single remote control can manage two lights at the same time, which will make it easier for dual-screen masters to use the screen light. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BGG6PJ7N | | Age Range Description | All Age Ranges | | Base Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Base material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Best Sellers Rank | 64,362 in Lighting ( See Top 100 in Lighting ) 1,017 in Desk Lamps | | Brand Name | Octosen | | Bulb Base | E26 | | Bulb Shape Size | A19 | | Bulb base | E26 | | Colour | Black | | Connectivity Protocol | Usb | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Control Method | Remote | | Controller Type | Remote Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 477 Reviews | | Efficiency | efficient | | Finish | Polished | | Finish type | Polished | | Fixture Features | Memory Function, Monitor Light Bar Monitor Lighting with Remote Control Screen Light Bar with Automatic Dimming No Glare Screen Desk Lamp | | Included Components | Remote Control | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Installation Type | Tabletop | | Is Electric | Yes | | Is Product Cordless | No | | Is Waterproof | false | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 43D x 12W x 5H centimetres | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Lamp Type | Desk Lamp | | Lamp type | Desk Lamp | | Lighting Method | LED | | Manufacturer | MELIFO | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene | | Model Number | HYTB-012 | | Mounting Type | Tabletop | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Lights | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Power and Plug Description | Corded Electric | | Product dimensions | 43D x 12W x 5H centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Reading | | Room Type | Bedroom | | Shade Colour | Black | | Shade Height | 5 Centimetres | | Shade Material | Resin | | Shade colour | Black | | Specific Uses | Office | | Style | Modern | | Subject Character | no subject character | | Switch Type | Mechanical Switch/Remote | | Type of Bulb | LED | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 5 Volts | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wattage | 5 watts | ## Product Details - **Base material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene - **Bulb base:** E26 - **Finish type:** Polished - **Lamp type:** Desk Lamp - **Product dimensions:** 43D x 12W x 5H centimetres ## Images ![MELIFO Monitor Light Bar with Remote Control, Auto-Dimming, No Screen Glare, USB Powered, Dual Control for Work and Office (HYTB-012) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61NplCPnOcL.jpg) ![MELIFO Monitor Light Bar with Remote Control, Auto-Dimming, No Screen Glare, USB Powered, Dual Control for Work and Office (HYTB-012) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-AslteyHL.jpg) ![MELIFO Monitor Light Bar with Remote Control, Auto-Dimming, No Screen Glare, USB Powered, Dual Control for Work and Office (HYTB-012) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71MU2JhgYnL.jpg) ![MELIFO Monitor Light Bar with Remote Control, Auto-Dimming, No Screen Glare, USB Powered, Dual Control for Work and Office (HYTB-012) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71idcTm14eL.jpg) ![MELIFO Monitor Light Bar with Remote Control, Auto-Dimming, No Screen Glare, USB Powered, Dual Control for Work and Office (HYTB-012) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VAa-dJf9L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: The description says that two lights can be controlled with one remote, however there are no instructions with the manual on how to enable this?** A: id imagine you need to daisy chain them together **Q: Can you disable the auto dimming feature?** A: You can turn off the auto dimming by clicking the switch on the body of the light. **Q: will it work on curved screens?** A: Yes, I have a 49” curved monitor, and it works great. **Q: What is the actual size of the light bar not the dimensions of the box it comes in** A: 15.5" inches across ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Monitor Light Bar - Just a Few Minor Quibbles *by A***N on 30 March 2025* This MELIFO light bar is fantastic for reducing eye strain during long work sessions.
