This is the result of a Kickstarter Projet based on re-creating the famous French-made 1968' DUX slicing knife at a fraction of the cost of its modern equivalent. This knife has a adjustable titanium coated aluminum guide that is very strong, rigid and light-weight. With Kickstarter, we improved the ergonomics of the handle but left the other elements of the DUX' 1968 intact. It features a stamped stainless steel blade with a serrated edge and an ABS plastic curved handle. This item easily disassembles for machine or hand washing. Warranted quality that will last for years! ## Features - Slicing / Carver knife with adjustable aluminum guide for cutting widths of 1-16 mm (3/64″ to 0.62") - 21 cm (8 1/4"), straight steel serrated blade - Black ABS handle. For right-hand use only. - All the qualities and advantages of the original DUX' 1968 at a fraction of the cost ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07114VSZB | | Best Sellers Rank | #169,965 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #81 in Carving Knives | | Blade Color | Silver | | Blade Edge | Serrated | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | BladeLength | 21 centimeters | | Brand Name | BAOUROUGE | | Color | Black | | Construction Type | Stamped | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (136) | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel,Abs Handle,Abs,Plastic,Steel | | Item Length | 8 inches | | Item Weight | 4.79 ounces | | Manufacturer | BaouRouge | | Manufacturer Part Number | BR-SKR | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | BR-SKR | | Size | 21 cm (8.1/4") | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Blade Edge:** Serrated - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** BAOUROUGE - **Color:** Black - **Handle Material:** Stainless Steel,Abs Handle,Abs,Plastic,Steel ## Images ![Precision Slicing Knife (Right-Handed) - 8 and 1/4 Inches Stainless Serrated Blade With Cutting Guide for Exact Slices Up To 5/8 Inch Thick - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hN1Tol-sL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you have left handed knives as an option?** A: regrettably not at present. **Q: Will it cut through a cooked brisket?** A: It certainly will.
