Plug one network cable between the router and the injector, and then I have a 6m long ethernet cable going through the wall to outside plugged into what was a TRENDNet IP security camera, which I've retrofitted into a home made bird box. I've subsequently added an extension adaptor to move the box another 4m further away, and the power and quality of signal is unaffected. Review: Reliable and works flawlessly to power a PTZ outdoor camera - Not much really I can say about this item, as I have only used it to power one device, and essentially it is 'only' a power supply!
