It has a very strong chemical smell. Unpleasant so I wonder if it is toxic** A: I have since used mine so I don't know what's written on the pack but I did a search and it just says that it contains no softeners, only vegetable binders. I didn't think it smelt toxic, it smelled natural to me. Perhaps write to the manufacturer to ask what else is in it? **Q: After modelling and air drying for a day, will this clay disperse when immersed in water?** A: Normally not, it can resist to the water for some hours **Q: Is this clay biodegradable? Iā€™d like one without the usual nylon fibres...** A: Hi there, it doesn't say anything on the packet. Thanks Peter **Q: how quickly does this clay set?** A: Generally after 24 hours the clay is dry but it depends on what you are making and the thickness of your item. :) ## Frequently Bought Together - DAS Air-Hardening Modeling Clay - Terra Cotta Clay 1.1lb Block - Pliable Air Clay for Sculpting and Coating - Easy to Use Air Dry Modeling Clay - Molding Clay for Sculpting and More - 100ml Air Dry Clay Varnish - Sealant & Glaze, Prevents Cracking, Scratches & Wear, Adds Glossy Effect - Amrules Clay Tools Kit, 27 PCS Pottery Tools, Practical Polymer Clay Sculpting Tools Kit, Air Dry Clay Tools Set for Kids, Adults, Pottery Craft, Dotting, Carving, Drawing, Molding, Modeling, Shaping --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - šŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** ā€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - šŸŒ **Shop Globally** ā€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - šŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** ā€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - šŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** ā€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - šŸ”’ **Secure Payments** ā€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ā **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** ā€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49426328-terracotta-air-hardening-500g-modelling-clay-non-bake](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49426328-terracotta-air-hardening-500g-modelling-clay-non-bake) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
