For the first cycle, it is suggested to perform the test right after the period ends to find the baseline of the LH progression. Test once a day or every other day if two consecutive results are very similar. After more than one cycle of consecutive testing, you can do less testing and start 3~5 days earlier than the predicted ovulation day. If your test line is getting darker and you may be closer to ovulation, it is recommended to test twice a day. They made a huge difference for us! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best and most affordable tests on the market *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 June 2021* I've been using these ovulation and pregnancy test strips and the bbt thermometer along with the premom app for about a year now so feel able to give them a very accurate review!Can't fault the ovulation tests at all, very clear reading every time but being able to put the pictures in to the app makes it even easier to read. I have found lighting matters though, so always try and take pictures of your tests in the same place with the same light otherwise the numbers on the app may not be totally accurate. My 'peak' comes and goes within a day usually so I always test three times a day when I seem to be nearing it. These are honestly a god send for irregular cycles, I ovulate anywhere between CD18 and CD22 so could easily miss my chance if it wasn't for these tests.The charts on the app are super easy to read. Very easy to see where the peak was and where temperature has spiked after ovulation. I've also had a very clear implantation dip each time I've been pregnant. The bbt thermometer is great and easy to use.I've been pregnant three times in the last 14 months with using these tests, sadly they have each ended in miscarriage but I have gone straight back to using these every time.The pregnancy test strips can give bad evaporation lines if you leave them too long to read so I've always made sure to read it as soon as the background has cleared and never had any problems. They're not hugely sensitive, so I don't tend to rely on them for my first positive.
