They are quite thick and coat the eyes nicely, easing the dry eye discomfort, but also don't tend to make your eyesight blurry for too long like some drops do immediately after use. My eyes feel so much better in the morning, whereas previously the eyelid used to stick to the eyeball slightly when they were really dry.
