Review: Very good sound quality - Very good sound quality. I installed it in my honda S 2000 which only has space for a single din player. Pairs effortlessly with my samsung S6 edge. Customisable colour display which you can adjust to match the rest of your car's interior. Has a subwoofer out connection but is powerful enough that at least in a small car like S2000, no subwoofer needed (unless you want to shake neighbour's windows). Also has a remote in connection on the reverse side which enables you to use add on wiring connections that restore functionality of steering controls. Only things lacking is a mute connection.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Long shot but....will this unit work with a Merc W210 or do i need some sort of loom adapter? There are steering wheel vol controls too, btw**
A: I have a Golf 6 and it needed an adapter for the connections and a panel to accommodate it on the dashboard. In the end I got it fitted by a guy I know because it would not work when I did it. Apparently this is common with VWs and Pioneer gear. He had to do some kind of extra fiddle I couldn't be arsed to understand. Great unit though.

**Q: Even though this is a couple of years old? is it still a good buy? or should i do for a more up to date standard DAB radio?**
A: Had mine for a year now, great bit of kit. Worked with my iPhone 4 and now the 6 with no issues, integrates well with voice control, navigation and such but also works as a standard radio if you have no use for the other features. Also has some nice touches like rear facing USB ports allowing you to make a nice neat job of routing cables.I paid £155 a year ago so you may want to watch the price for a while if you want to save that last £14 (£169 at the time of writing).

**Q: Can I turn off all illumination while stereo working? like a standby mode with no illumination but music on**
A: there is a 12 minute YouTube video on the set up, he shows you how to turn off the illumination while the stereo is on.

**Q: are the music files easy to browse? folder, file etc?**
A: Yes easy

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing sound but delicate

This is the best car stereo I’ve ever owned (I’ve had a few)… The sound is amazing and has all the features I wanted - and more. However…. as you can see by the photo, the connection strip got damaged when fitting the face unit and just out of warranty. It works out cheaper to by a new one than getting it repaired - absolutely gutted. So while I do recommend this stereo, I would also say go very gently when attaching/removing the face unit…
