I'm totally in shock.. After keeping another brand in business for years of descaling my kettle every 3-4 weeks I was on the hunt for something a bit more pleasing to my purse strings.. This is it.. 1 TEASPOON.. yes ONE TEASPOON in half a boiled kettle of water and it cleared the base of kettle.. Then I used said water on my sink and drainer as its a brown plastic type of sink.. No more white splash marks on sink or drainer and kettle all shiny.. This bag will keep me going for well over a year and that'll include coffee machine also.. No smell or boiling after use just a good rinse or 2 ## Features - ✔ A WORLD OF GOODNESS: We actively seek sustainable sources for our goods, asking our suppliers the tough questions that we know matter to our customers and making sure all our products are 100% GMO Free. We follow strict hygiene processes to provide the best quality ingredients and have achieved a maximum of 5 Start food hygiene ratings. - ✔ Anhydrous Citric Acid: Our citric acid is food-grade and safe to eat, but it is also a highly helpful home product, thanks to its strong acidity, which makes it an excellent cleaning agent. With its strong acidity, it performs an outstanding job of removing quicklime, especially since it is non-toxic to humans; and because it is very water-soluble with no odour, it comes off quickly and without streaks! - ✔ HIGH-QUALITY INGREDIENTS: Citric acid is highly useful because of its strong acidity quality. Citric acid is ideal for cleaning kettles and other food-handling equipment and supplies. Citric acid's flexibility doesn't end there; it can also be used as a bath additive! You may make a bath bomb that gives you a sense of relaxation and calm in the shower by mixing 2 parts baking soda and 1-part citric acid. So, there you have it, citric acid and its numerous applications. Not bad, right? - ✔ JUST THE GOOD STUFF / FULLY RECYCLABLE PACKAGING: We believe that good food shouldn’t cost the earth, as such, sustainability matters to us dearly. It's so much cheaper and more effective than the various descaling products you can buy at the store. Not to mention, those products often leave a terrible smell that requires a lot of flushing with water before it's safe to use your kettle again. With citric acid, on the other hand, there are no nasty odours or tastes to worry about. Since it's food grade, I feel much more comfortable using it in my kitchen. And it only takes a teaspoon of citric acid in boiling water to descale my kettle completely. It's amazing how quickly, and effectively, it works! Overall, I would highly recommend citric acid for anyone looking for an affordable and easy solution for descaling their kettle. It's a great alternative to expensive and smelly descaling products, and it gets the job done quickly and effectively. ## Frequently Bought Together - Whole Food Earth® Citric Acid, Anhydrous, Food Grade, 500 g (Pack of 1) - Wholefood Earth - Sodium Bicarbonate Baking Soda 500 g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49236422-citric-acid-500g-food-grade-anhydrous-mu](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49236422-citric-acid-500g-food-grade-anhydrous-mu) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
