Also would it make a decent size mug or is it too small** A: I'm still experimenting - lots of fun! - but have only made small pieces for jewellery pendants, etc. I would say it's too small for a mug. It takes about 20 min to fuse the pieces I've been doing, but I've only used glass not clay. Hope this helps! **Q: How quickly does the kiln cool down?** A: It cools down quite fast - depending on the temperature of the room where you have it. About 15 minutes or so. **Q: Can you use this with silver or copper clay?** A: Yes **Q: Is it normal for the microwave kiln to produce hair line cracks after 8 uses or is it faulty?** A: Mine produced a crack in the grey liner, which is what gets hot, but it still works fine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Large Microwave Kiln Kit for Glass Fusing Kiln 3pcs/ Set - Pebeo 766303 White Modelling Clay,18 x 13.6 x 11.4cm, 5kg --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49195153-large-microwave-kiln-kit-for-glass-fusing-kiln-3pcs-set](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49195153-large-microwave-kiln-kit-for-glass-fusing-kiln-3pcs-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
