I had the hardest and I mean the HARDEST time popping off the cover for the filter in the engine hood bay. However, once the air filter cover was popped off, the filter fit perfectly in the compartment. Closing the compartment was equally as hard because of the pins. I am surprised that it was this hard considering my car is pretty new. Just something to consider. I did not use any gloves so that may have contributed to it being hard to taking off my cover for the air filter compartment.
