## Description

SK Cocol Cocoa Butter Colouring is the ultimate product for adding colour to chocolate and is now available in an extra-strength formula so you don’t need to add as much colour. Ideal for adding decorative colour to your chocolate work and for making your own transfer sheets, these colour sets contain five coordinating colours for beautiful chocolates. The Cool Tones set contains: Blue,Green,Purple,Teal and Black. Each set contains 5 x 15g pots. The colourings are versatile and easy to use, making it simple to transform your hand-crafted chocolates. Simply heat gently in the microwave to melt the colours and shake or stir well before use. The bright colours work best when used with white chocolate, producing a vibrant and eye-catching effect. The silver colour gives a dramatic effect when brushed or spattered onto milk or dark chocolate only. The white colour is particularly useful for ‘lifting’ the other colours and can also be ‘spattered’ on to chocolates (or into a mould) for a contemporary design feature.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these colours fat soluble**
A: Thank you for your enquiry.

These colours are designed for adding colour to chocolate. Please find instructions for use below.

Remove the lid and microwave on full power until the contents have melted fully. Remove from the microwave, replace the lid and shake at regular intervals to ensure even temperature distribution

Alternatively, melt the Cocol by placing the bottle in warm water. Shake contents and brush or airbrush a thin layer of melted Cocol into a chocolate mould or onto an acetate sheet before filling or covering with tempered chocolate.

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

The Vanilla Valley Team

**Q: How long can we keep the coloured cocoa butters (i.e. when do they expire and when should we get rid of them)? Thank you :)**
A: I would recommend you email squires kitchen, I personally don't think there are enough instructions especially eg once a pot is opened how long can you keep it, the instructions are quite vague regarding your questionSorry I haven't been able to answer your question

**Q: Hi, can I make pink colour from this set of colours**
A: If there is red and white - yea

**Q: Do you have to add coco butter to this or is there coco but in the pots already?**
A: I use this to colour a ganache drip . I pop the little pot into very hot water to liquify it and add a drop to my ganache . I use callebaut choc chips ,cream and a Little bit of coconut oil together with the colouring . #thecakecook

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but mighty
*by C***L on 6 June 2020*

Really happy with these, seems to be the only place on Amazon selling coloured cocoa butters that aren't one huge bottle or just colouring to add to the butter. Tried these out today and my only complaint is the instructions are a little vague, so for anyone looking to use these here's what I did:Pop lid off, microwave for 30sec take out put lid on and shake vigorously, put back in for 20sec and repeat till it sounds like it's melted.Wait till it cools a little before using or it will be too watery. Hope this helps someone. They do seem small but you only need a little!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great product
*by B***A on 4 January 2020*

great product for decorating chocolate moulds. tip is to add a little white to any colour to help it show clearer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Full colour kit in carry case would be great
*by A***M on 10 February 2021*

Not used yet, look good, colour looks strong, smaller than expected, so a bit expensive, disappointed I couldn't find black in same brand. Will buy from here again.
