Mine slips all over the place. Does anyone have any suggestions for making this a true non-slip ruler?** A: I do not have a slip problem with Omnigrip. I do however have some other brand quilters rulers that slipped. I purchased small stick on circles made especially for this purpose. They look like hole punch reinforcements I used to get for school papers years ago. You peel them off a sheet and place the circles on several areas on the back of your quilter ruler. You can even use the donut hole piece on smaller rulers. Also, make sure you are holding the ruler firmly when cutting because the pressure used on the cutting blade going through several layers if fabric and pressed against the ruler edge can "move" even a non-slip ruler if not enough pressure is used in holding the ruler in place. Omnigrip just helps the cause. I love all my Omnigrip rulers. **Q: Is this a flexible ruler?** A: No, this ruler is a stiff ruler. Its thicker so you can use it with a rotary cutter. **Q: This ruler is supposed to be non-slip. Mine slips all over the place. Does anyone have any suggestions for making this a true non-slip ruler?** A: I don’t have a problem with this ruler, but others slip and I got some small sandpaper-like dots for the underside of them. **Q: How tall is this ruler** A: It does say 18 inches and that's what it is. ## Frequently Bought Together - Omnigrip RN2518 Non-Slip Quilter's Ruler, 2-1/2 x 18-Inch - Omnigrip 10-1/2" x 10-1/2" Non-Slip Square Quilting Ruler by Omnigrid - Omnigrid 6" x 6" Square Quilting and Sewing Ruler --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/4916675-omnigrip-non-slip-quilting-ruler-for-sewing-and-scrapbooking-2](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/4916675-omnigrip-non-slip-quilting-ruler-for-sewing-and-scrapbooking-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
