**Q: is it soundproof**
A: I have found it to be fine although it is under a good quality carpet.  Dont know what it would be like under a cheaper carpet but it is a reasonably good quality underlay for such a low price.

**Q: is this corrugated and would it be okay for bedrooms and downstairs**
A: It's quite flexible, easy to lay and cut. Soft and spongy. Bedrooms is fine, and probably the stairs too.

**Q: Is this fire retardant? And conform to British regulations?**
A: Hello,

Although the Graphite Underlay is not fire retardant, it does comply with British regulations for the Hot Nut Test.
