Put this cleaning fluid in egg cup and fill pen as normal. Leave for 5 to 10 min then rinse with cold water. Ink residues from reservoir/bladder and nib will be removed. **Q: Will this clean dried acrylic pen nibs please. TIA** A: (Just my opinion: no guarantees). Herbin cleaner is, I think, designed for fountain pens and their ink and works well there. I'm not sure how good it would be for dried acrylic ink. A search for 'acrylic ink cleaner' will turn up several products which might work, however. **Q: Will this work on my Rotring isograph?** A: The answer is: maybe. If you already have some Herbin fluid, it's worth a try. Otherwise, Rotring make a cleaner for drawing pens: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rotring-Cleaning-Fluid-Drawing-Pens/dp/B0076IUL80 **Q: Can this be used with Cross fountain pens?** A: Not sure about Cross pens. I have used with Parker Sheaffer and Dryden only. As long as it is only the nib up to the collar that was dipped it was fine. Tipped extra solution into a clear plastic cup and it turned opaque. ## Frequently Bought Together - Herbin 12300T- Bottle of cleaner for fountain pens and roller pens 50 ml (product without packaging - zero waste objective) - Herbin 25500T - Pack of 10 blotter paper 12x16cm 240g, White - Herbin 25000T- Stained wooden blotting pad , 8.5 x 4.7 x 7 cm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49103833-jacques-herbin-12300t-a-50-ml-bottle-of-cleaner-every](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/49103833-jacques-herbin-12300t-a-50-ml-bottle-of-cleaner-every) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
