The rack itself assembles with three bolts and washers, which bolt directly into a thread in the three support brackets. The frame itself seems to be pretty heavy duty and the welds look pretty good quality. The main box section is ready plugged with plastic plugs and the hooks are coated in soft plastic.The rack comes with some 8mm screw bolts and matching plastic wall plugs, which probably would keep it solid on the wall, but I opted to fix it to the wall with shield anchors, to make sure the weight couldn’t pull off the wall.We’ve managed to fit all of the family bikes on the rack (so that’s 3 full size 29inch wheeled mountain bikes, 1 full size hybrid and 2 single gear bikes). Despite the staggered hooks, we’ve found that we’ve had to mount one bike upside down, as four of the bikes are wide handlebars (mountain/hybrid) but this is a really small price to pay for a really organised garage. We’re really pleased with the rack.One word of warning. The longer hooks are approx 28cm from the top of the bar to the hook, so you need to take this into account (and the length of your longest bike) when mounting the rack. We only just hand enough height in our garage. This definitely isn’t a fault of this product of course, just something to remember if you’re mounting a bike vertically for the first time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Seems robust, and good for multiple bikes if you're short of space *by C***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2019* Seems like a decent quality item, and you can't go wrong for £50 really. It's quite hard work to put up (a two man job really, to hold and mark up, then to initially bolt in), but then hopefully it'll mean it's strong and robust and will last. I've got five bikes up at the moment, with another road bike to add, and I'm pleasantly surprised it fits them all. Two are kids bikes but I can't see why two more adult bikes wouldn't fit with a bit of a squeeze and some jostling. Overall, I'd recommend one of these if you've got multiple bikes and are short on space. I've literally only just put it up, but I hope it lasts for a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Solid, simple, strong, good value *by R***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 September 2018* It is very solid & well made.Very good value.I do think six bikes is optimistic - four with a couple of gaps is maybe more realistic.It is simple, but lack of instructions is negative.fwiw After one false attempt I found the easiest was to assemble the frame, have a friend hold it while I marked, then drillAnd I'm still unsure on the height: should the bikes rest on ground or not?But I would recommend it.
