We use it on the daily and every piece holds up beautifully. Breakfast, lunch and dinner plus many a dishwasher cycle on high and they still look like brand new. It's well-made with a wonderful assortment (no having to purchase extra, say, cereal bowls that don't come with set like with many other brands.)I purchased a second set for when we have company over for brunches or dinners and find that I can dress it up with minimal effort. An inexpensive napkin ring set, purchased on Amazon as well, and some fabric napkins of your choice and you have a lovely table setting!We haven't had a single piece chip, crack or shatter, but I can't speak for drops onto a hard surface like the floor. LOL! Still, we have a full household with three fur-babies that love to trip their ¨hoomans¨so there is a lot of hustle and bustle, like knocking pieces over and having them tossed haphazardly into the sink...still, not a single crack. Although I still cringe whenever I hear the dreaded sound of porcelain against porcelain and have to run to check for broken dishes.
