**Q: Are the dimensions stated measured at the widest and longest points?**
A: Mine measures 24cm wide 42cm long and 57cm tall. All measurements are taken at the greatest point.

**Q: Does it have a removable liner so I could use it for recycling without having to use a bag?**
A: Hi, unfortunately not, pretty much what you see is what you get without and extras.  You do have to use a bin liner but you do not have to buy the Simple Human bin liners as they are pricey.  I use Wilkos own 50L Greensack which is made out of recycles plastic and is anti tear, I just role the edges under the lip of the bin and it's fine.  So you could still used a bin liner and just reuse it every time you empty the bin if you are recycling fairly light weight items.  Otherwise I feel a bin that suits your needs might be more suitable, as recycle bin are usually more sturdy than this bin which is only made from light weight plastic.   I hope that helps.

**Q: Can you tell me which bin liners are the best fit for this bin please?**
A: I use the 25 litre bags from Lidl. They fit perfectly so I haven't needed to try any others. They are strong too. Hope this helps

If you have a dog then you know what I mean. The deep dread of returning home to a scattered bin. The fear that someone may, unthinkingly, put raisins, or corn on the cob, or chicken bones in the bin and the dog will get too it (I don't worry so much about chocolate - no one in our house would put that in the bin). It is not so much the mess, although that ain't pleasant, but the worry about the negative impact on my dogs heath. And dietary indiscretion can lead to a wide range of expensive-to-solve veterinary problems.I work in a veterinary practice and we have one of these bins in the staff room, It was purchased about 10 years ago after recurrent bouts of pancreatitis in one of the staff dogs - it still looks great and works well.I never paid it much attention until I purchased one recently for my own kitchen - and oh it is such a weight of my mind. The click shut soon becomes second nature and it is such a joy not to come home to strewn yogurt pots every day (my real fear was that she would eat a bit of metal or batterie of something). But, on top of that, every thing else about this bin is just right.It is tall and narrow so fits a small space, but it is very stable. it fits the bin bags really well and is super easy to clean. It is robust and just works really well - it is worth every penny - I strongly recommend this to dog lovers.

These bins last years!! I’ve got 2 of these and they just last and last and don’t break! So I ordered another! One for recycling and one for waste. Some of the other bins are way way over priced but I feel this simple human bin is just a great price and looks sleek. Can’t go wrong. They also have child lock on too which is added bonus. Only negative is the silver latch that locks the bin often gets tricky to undo. It’s quite stiff.
