Review: An excellent design for dealing with the perennial problem of the ... - An excellent design for dealing with the perennial problem of the leaky shower door. It is a very tight fit on the bottom of the glass door and the soft plastic under-seal (by contrast to the rigid door-grip) allows for some degree of unevenness if the shower tray is not fitted dead level (in my case the tray was installed about 1 degree out of true so that the gap beneath the door varies by around 3-4mm end-to-end). I have previously installed two proprietary seals, neither of which worked as well as this one. Easy to fit - cut to size on the door, allowing a couple of mm gap between the end of the seal and the door posts, making sure the door is a snug fit when closed. (Tip: Because my shower door opens outwards, the soft under-seal is naturally squeezed towards the outside as the door closes. This is fine, but a small gap avoids any extraneous water running down the door posts getting trapped and inadvertently tracking to outside. This suggestion follows a couple of live tests to ensure that the door and seal are completely water-tight.) Overall, extremely pleased with the product and recommend it to anyone with similar shower door problems. Review: Does What It Should - Quite difficult to fit as to slide along the cubicle door is a mighty tight fit. One attached it does help to keep the drips on the inside thogh ## Features - 870mm in length, Securely protected in unique HNNHOME designed plastic tube - Flexible rubber plastic, translucent finish - For 6-8mm thickness glass, gap up to 8mm - Perfect for shower screen, glass door No glue or tools needed for installation, Simple - HNNHOME is a registered trade mark of HNN TRADING Limited, the trade mark is protected and We do not make our products for anyone else. - Premium Clear PVC Material – Made from high-quality, crystal-clear PVC, HNNHOME shower screen seals offer a clean, discreet finish that blends naturally with your bathroom décor. The flexible bottom deflector channels water back into the shower area, reducing puddles and helping keep the surrounding floor dry and tidy after every shower. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00NTVJWBK | | Batteries required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 26,359 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 33 in Shower Enclosures & Cubicles | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars (908) | | Date First Available | 23 Sept. 2014 | | Finish types | Translucent Finish | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Is assembly required | No | | Item weight | 50 Grams | | Manufacturer reference | unknown | | Product Dimensions | 87 x 3 x 1 cm; 50 g | ## Images ![HNNHOME Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Up To 8mm Gap - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51dxJ8rpYYS.jpg) ![HNNHOME Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Up To 8mm Gap - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51xD8GhYouS.jpg) ![HNNHOME Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Up To 8mm Gap - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71joXclJrtL.jpg) ![HNNHOME Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Up To 8mm Gap - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61d2KfbbjuL.jpg) ![HNNHOME Bath Shower Screen Door Seal Strip for 4-6mm Glass Up To 8mm Gap - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51gx9asN7GL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent design for dealing with the perennial problem of the ... *by J***E on 13 August 2017* An excellent design for dealing with the perennial problem of the leaky shower door.
