**Q: I am looking for locking tuners for a Telecaster and amazon gave me this listing for this product. Could you tell me if these would work on a it?**
A: Standard fender locking MIM tuners are fine people just don’t know how to use them. They are locking so you need to slack the string and tune up. As soon as you tune down it un locks. Think of a ratchet strap..... And the nut needs some graphite like pencil lead. Messy but works.

**Q: will these on a right handed 2014 MIM standard**
A: I put these on a right handed 2006 MIM standard Strat and the peg holes aligned perfectly ... They popped right in.

**Q: Will these fit a 2014 MIM Strat without modification?**
A: IF your MIM Strat has the similar looking Fender tuners (made by Ping), then they are a direct replacement. If your Strat has the Fender "Vintage" style tuners, then they will not without a few mods.
To tell for certain, just remove one of your existing tuners and look for two alignment pins on the back of the tuner which fit into two small holes drilled into in the rear of the head stock, under the tuners.  If you have those alignment pins, you're golden.

**Q: Are these compensated/staggered height tuners?**
A: Yes. There are two heights of tuners. Three long and three short. Just FYI, there is no order other than that. I bought more of these and checked exclusively to see if there was staggering within the groups of three and there WAS NOT. These are a fantastic upgrade from regular sealed tuners. String changing is a no-brainer and their hefty build helps them keep tuning dead-on. Hope this helps! Will

A great upgrade to my Mexican fender, swapped them out as easy as pie, they hold tune, and look great. Super quick for an on the fly change if gigging or at home. Usual original Fender quality. A no brainier for upgrading your cheaper Fender to that American spec standard!

Fantastic product - direct drop on replacement for the existing turners on my mexican 60th anniversary telecaster.Only tool needed to fit them is a 10mm socket.Tuning is massively improved - the gearing is much tighter, no slop and great tuning stability - great upgrade for a reasonable price too.

My favourite locking tuners. Top quality and easy to fit if you have a fender guitar already. Otherwise get a fine drill point and tape the drill bit so you don't go too deep for the two retaining posts.
