Review: No need of a flake in it - Used on a single skin garage wall, where the existing DPC was either below or at path level, and rising damp, efflorescence & rainwater penetration to the internal slab were the problem. Dropping the paths was inadvisable due to shallow foundations to garage wall and potential water run off issues. Very easy to use the cream, hammer drilling 12mm dia holes to 2/3rd depth of brickwork, lining up with perp joints and mid-stretcher position, injecting in with a long frame gun. The only problem was gauging the amount going into the holes, making it easy to overfill & not leave enough space for the mortar ‘capping’ on the outside. The waterproofing effect was almost instant. A particularly persistent area of rainwater penetration to the garage floor slab cleared up after only a couple of days, and hasn’t returned about 3 months after I did the job. The chemical did leave a bit of a slight ‘water mark’ on the bricks, but that seemed to clear up after light wire brushing. The product is a tad expensive, and the coverage is slightly less than expected, but overall I found it to be a v.good solution to my damp issues. If "not too bad" then imagine it should be okay to paint a couple of courses up the wall, but I`d definitely leave everything to dry out before plastering..
