I use this in a drink half way through exercise. I don't know if it works or not but as it's not expensive I'm trying it for a few months. Taste wise it's OK, those complaining about it's taste are complaining really about it's smell. Just don't breath through your nose while opening, mixing and drinking and there is no taste.
