I was able to determine a cable had a problem with the meter on the cable while hooked up to the switcher on the other end and comparing to a known good cable. Upon putting the test light on the cable, the other end clearly showed a failed termination as the body of the connector was glowing red and light wasn't even coming out of the end of the connector. Pretty simple and straight-forward to operate. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fiber Optic Tester *by R***0 on Reviewed in the United States on 18 June 2014* Just received the pair, great that they offered the fault locator with the meter, i wander how many buy the meter then find out they need a light source. I will follow up on this review after I have used it on a job.
