Review: Works perfectly - Great product used to trim kitchen cupboard doors works very well and very easy to use. Great tool Review: Makes the job easy - There's not much not to like about this. It's much better than the cheapo versions and it works really really well. You can cut straight edges on both sides of the edge banding or bevel on one side (or bevel on both sides if you do two passes. The only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars is that I think it done come with a couple of spare blades at the price and also that it doesn't feel particularly robust, ie I'm not convinced it'll stand the test of tinde getting other tools rattling in around it in the tool box but that's maybe unfair because I haven't managed to blunt the blade or break the tool yet. Do yourself a favour and buy once of these instead of the cheaper version. I currently trim the edging with a sharp chisel keeping it flat to the board. The veneered board I purchase is too expensive for tools that dig in ot scratch the timber when trimming against e grain. I have read mixed feedback and am still unsure **Q: Will this trim rounded corners on a worktop?** A: The Stanley Laminate Trimmer is primarily designed for trimming both sides of edging strips. e.g. on cabinet doors and that is what I have used it for. Although you have an option of adjusting for a tapered cut on one side, I don't believe that it is designed to do what you are asking for. I hope this answers your question. **Q: can you get spare blades** A: To the best of my knowledge, there are no replacement blades supplied for this tool by Stanley. Having said that, these have come down in price and you can pick up a new one for around £7 from eBay. Hope this helps.
