It fits perfectly. I supposed it's possible that not all sellers are getting the cases from that actual manufacturer. Beware of Chinese sellers, people who source their product on Chinese wholesale companies. My case fits perfect and I absolutely love it, including the phone. The phone makes life so convenient, unlike my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which was a nightmare. I would say Motorola put a lot of time into planning this phone. The case is snug and protects the phone well. I wish there was a slide cover for the camera lenses, since they are always exposed to the elements. I put a tempered glass shield on the front display. When setting the phone down, I always place it display side down. I'll just have to be careful about the camera lenses. I plan on having this phone for 5 years, just like my Galaxy Note 8. I doubt I will buy another Samsung phone ever again, since they are so overrated. The fit is just right, the "bumper" around the front glass is just large enough to protect the screen and help grip the device without being noticeable, the camera bump opening is the perfect size to allow the phone to rest well in the hands or on a desk, and the durable is pretty good for the price. The case has already protected my phone from several "whoopsie" moments, including several drops directly on concrete. The case also protected my phone from a 3 story drop on concrete, but your mileage will absolutely vary with that.
