Review: This is the first and only RC plane I've bought and it's awesome! Comes fully assembled in a box that works to store it safely too. I was too excited to get out and fly and chose to risk it in 20-30mph winds. It held up alright flying in those gusts. I crashed it into trees and the ground a whole lot of times and it held up completely. The controller settings are great and dampen the sensitivity of your inputs and help keep it level. I found it best to use the "expert" setting because it is fairly easy to control, but if you need to act quick to avoid a crash (or as I discovered, a hawk) it is best to have the sharp inputs. And again, I beat this thing up pretty bad and the wing only chipped a tiny bit after multiple crashes into a metal fence, so seriously sturdy. Charging the batteries is easy, but the included charger IS NOT a smart charger, so definitely make sure to set a timer. I also bought a charging/storage bag for the batteries as a precaution; the batteries are small, so you can get away with the small bags with room to add more in future.

Beginner is pretty fail proof, intermediate allows you to do some tricks and fly tighter turns while still being forgiving. Expert is hard, but I'm also no pro. The ailerons are a huge factor in making this great. A friend bought one without them and it's much less fun. Something to note, I have flyed a lot and gotten pretty good, but I have crashed mine probably 50 times flying in too small of an area in my backyard, a few at full speed. It held up very well and I was surprised how long it lasted before a crack. After many many head on collisions it did eventually crack the foam in the nose, but was easily repaired with some clear gorilla glue. Still flies great after the repair. If your more careful than me and fly in fields I would not be surprised if it never breaks. The prop is pretty durable and pops off if crashed. This is good since the prop won't break. The downside is it can be easy to loose them. I've debated spray painting one high visibility orange to make it easier to find.

**Q: Does this controller have a one button return home?**
A: I would not recommend this product. As soon as we put it out for the first run, it flew straight and kept going and we lost it. It never returned like it was supposed to with control settings that we followed the directions. Used it for 30 seconds. I was not able to get my money back.

**Q: What is the wing span in inches?**
A: 24” wing 18” length

**Q: Will my spektrum dx5e work with the ranger 600?**
A: No, I'm sorry it must work with our Radio.

**Q: Can the 4 channel sport cub 500 accept a higher mah battery that is also 3.7v? i'm trying for longer flight time with more mah**
A: Yes, you can. I had Ranger 600 by VolantexRC (the same set of batteries and transmitter as yours), so I bought 5 additional batteries with 700 mAh. The only remember: the battery with more capacity has more weight and size. So I would recommend checking the battery slot to be sure your new battery will fit inside.

Even though this plane is made of styrofoam, it's pretty durable! My dad bought one of these and on his first flight crashed it into a light post, and it didn't take much damage at all. Later on, he found he was losing control of his plane when he flew it, possibly something wrong with the electronics. But he sent it back and got a replacement at no charge! The different flight modes make this much more fun and easy to fly than it would be otherwise. This plane takes off within just a few feet and climbs great. The expert mode is really fun, although I generally only use it when the plane is at least 100 feet in the air. I often lose control in expert mode since I'm not too experienced, so this plane should have crashed dozens of times if it weren't for the different difficulty modes. I simply switch back to beginner mode and it straightens out of its tailspin or nose dive or whatever, which makes me more comfortable trying out complex aerobatics and risky maneuvers (as long as the plane is high enough). Anyway, this is an absolute joy to fly and has really helped break the monotony of quarantine. My dad and I often fly together. We make sure we pair our planes when they're both on the ground, though. Every once in a while, one controller pairs to both planes, so we always make sure our controllers are paired to the correct planes before taking off. I would recommend this plane to anyone!
