We haven't tested out the glow in the dark capabilities yet but it looks great and yes like other people have pointed out it is very small, however it's nice to have some smaller patches amongst the big ones, i would say this is a perfect size to be put on a helmet cover or a mag pouch etc. I also got this with the idea of the recipient putting it on the back of their helmet so when we attend night games i can see where they are moving ahead with using flash lights which would give us away. Even if this isn't fully glow in the dark i think it does have a reflective quality to it so should be visible on a clear night or little light surroundings.
