We think so but you might want to test a small area first. **Q: will this work on wood** A: Unfortunately we do not recommend that any of our products are used on a combustible material. Stu **Q: does this stick fire resistant boards to metal (and plaster)** A: Oops... I haven't used it yet. However, from my research it's the correct heat resistant adhesive for the boards. I bought it to line my chimney breat with boards and will be sticking it to bricks & plaster.
