Is it breathable and comfortable?** A: Yes, the material is good, very comfortable, and breathable. I have to use this between 16/24h a day for more them 2 months and I had no issue. **Q: Is this a pair or just a single support?** A: It is a single support for one hand, which can be worn on either left or right hand **Q: Does this fit either hand?** A: Hi, yes it will fit either hand with good compression around the palm and thumb, however, I ordered the large as per the sizing guide and both are so tight around the wrist I have to take them off after 15-20 minutes and am left with compression marks/indents on both wrists, so now both gloves sit in the bottom draw and are no longer used. **Q: Is it waterproof** A: I have 2 of these and they are very good for me, only really use them when my arthritis etc flares and use it to every thing settles down again. Different sizes different colours shin colour most unobtrusive. Make sure you get right size...SML They are made from a elastic stretch material and just have your normal fabric water resistance. I dont think or would I say they are not fully waterproof. Put a rubber fitting glove over it if you still need to wear it you can get different size rubber gloves.. That will give you the water proofness needed. You could even buy a waterproofing liquid and treat it with that. I have done this with my gazibo and waterproofed it again...only a thought. When mine get dirty I just pop it into the washing machine and that cleans them... Why do you need to water proof it? If you need something like this a Gortex type material would be best it is waterproof and also breaths so you would not get sweating... so that's why I am saying a repellent treatment might be best to allow breathing or if you need full waterproofing use an over rubber type glove. This is so far very comfortable, easy to put on and with very good support for my wrist during light duites. I've tried a few different types to suit my wrist size with a measurement approximately 10cm - which seems to be below the average small sizing of 12-14cm. The support extends halfway across my forearm which is what I need for the tendonitis. The material is not itchy and not triggering my skin sensitivity. Mobility isn't compromised and no scratchy and bulky velcro. Straight forward to use and so far good value for the price. I'll have to see how I get on for a few more days.
