**Q: Is this apolactoferrin?**
A: Yes, this is apolactoferrin.  I verified this with Jarrow before purchasing and when I received it, the label stated apolactoferrin (which is what my cat needs for his immune system).

**Q: is this the same as bovine colostrum?**
A: Lactoferrin is a protein found in high densities within bovine colostrum, and is also found in cow's milk. So it is not colostrum, but is an active and important ingredient in colostrum. I am unsure if this product is derived from bovine milk or colostrum.

**Q: Does this Jarrow Formulas Lactoferrin have gelatin?**
A: I am uncertain if this product has gelatin, you should be able to look that up on the ingredients from the site.

**Q: Does this product contain whey?  I'd like to try it but have an allergy to whey (though not to casein).  Thanks for any help you can give.**
