Will this product be the best for both? Do we need an air admittance valve either/ or?** A: Provided the two holes are at the top of the septic tank and they will accommodate a pipe of a diameter specified in the product description, you should not have any problem fitting the product to one or both of the vent holes. As the Studor Maxi-Filtra is a two way vent I cannot see the need for an air admittance valve. Hope this helps. **Q: Could this be fitted horizontally, onto an existing, rectangular opening vertical pipe I wonder...?** A: I don't think it would as the unit is a round fitting. I don't know how you could make a tight seal all around it and your existing rectangular pipe **Q: Would this work on a cesspit vent pipe?** A: Yes I think it should. We fitted ours to a vent pipe on the patio with the tanks beneath and works great! **Q: Does this include the fittings for attachment to 100mm Vent pipe.
