They rusted badly very quickly. The sound is also quite abrasive by design and were too tight for my liking. But then they are meant for an aggressive attack if that is the sound you are after. **Q: Are these suitable for B standard and Drop A tuning?** A: Yeah man, perfect to go down to Drop G as well **Q: Will these go to drop A tuning?** A: Yes, but as usual expect s slightly looser tension in the string. Buy yeah they're great for drop A, I use them exclusively in drop A ## Frequently Bought Together - Ernie Ball 7-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Slinky Cobalt Electric Guitar Strings, 10-62 Gauge (P02730) - Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Slinky Cobalt Electric Guitar Strings, 10-52 Gauge (P02715) - Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Slinky Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings 3-pack, 10-52 Gauge (P03215) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48493824-ernie-ball-skinny-top-heavy-bottom-slinky-cobalt-7-string](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48493824-ernie-ball-skinny-top-heavy-bottom-slinky-cobalt-7-string) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
