It's not poly cotton (because I can't stand them) and, let's face it, it wouldn't be so expensive if it was. Bought mine a year ago, coming back again to buy a second one because I can't stand using a cheap one while the proper one is being washed!

My husband washed the duvet and pillows cases and they had the new chemical smell. It took me over an hour to iron the duvet properly as I weighed so much! I definitely recommend.
