It depends on your sink. You can use normal u bend, but we have a pedestal stand so we used an inline pedestal waste for that and a u bend for the bath. Thrilled with these, they are fabulous taps and look stunning when running. **Q: Does this tap develop lots of limescale over time?** A: That depends on where you live. I'm in scotland and limescale in the water supply isn't a problem here. If you live in say the south of England then limescale in the water supply probably is highly likely. If your kettle gets a build up then likely any tap will over time too. So I'm afraid your dammed If you buy or not as its won't be the taps fault. All you can do is clean it more often with a cleaner that removes limescale deposits. **Q: Are the rubber o seals sufficient or should i use tape as well** A: It's been in situ for years and doesn't leak. Follow the fitting instructions and no tape will be needed **Q: Has this basin tap got a swivel spout?** A: No. The spout is fixed. Only the tap-top turns left and right for hot or cold. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hapilife Basin Taps Waterfall Mixers Bathroom Sink Mixer Tap Semi-Open with UK Hoses Chrome Brass - [Bath Shower Tap] Hapilife Waterfall Bathroom Water Filter Mixer Tub Tap Chrome with Handheld Shower Head --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48437686-basin-taps-waterfall-mixers-bathroom-sink-mixer-tap-with-semi](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/48437686-basin-taps-waterfall-mixers-bathroom-sink-mixer-tap-with-semi) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
